About Us

Siddeswara Rural Development Society(R)

SRDS is dedicated to the socio-economic empowerment of indigenous and marginalized communities in Chitradurga, Karnataka.

Siddeswar Rural Development Society(R)is a secular non-profit voluntary organization established in 1994. For the past 28 years, we are working in the area of disadvantaged SC/ST, backward communities, expanding its horizon to reach out to underserved sections of society that need intervention.Through the power of membership, we promote the economic and social status of the community. We have served more than 1000 people in Shimoga Chitradurga districts. To empower the marginalized and vulnerable sections of the community by enhancing their knowledge, skills, capacities access to opportunities and services, and their participation in life decisions. SRDS aims to act as a facilitator for people to achieve their optimal potential and prepare them to face life challenges with confidence and dignity.

Day Care Center for Senior Citizens

We provide a daycare center for senior citizens, offering a safe space for care, medical assistance, emotional support, and social interaction. The center also organizes recreational activities, outings, and gatherings to improve their mental and physical well-being.

Free Health Check Up

A free health check-up camp was organized at the SRDS office in Chitradurga, where services like blood pressure checks and random blood sugar tests were provided to the community at no cost.
